If you are considering an inversion table, I can't see spending any more money than this. It's really all you need--it's the gravity that's doing the work, not all the other bells and whistles. I use it for just 5 to 8 min a day, and it seems to help my sciatica and just make my back feel healthier, more stretched out. The ankle supports tend to dig in to the heels a little, so I'd recommend just always wearing sneakers. Otherwise, go for it. It's a good, basic table.

Very easy and fun to use. Only con is wish the safety strap on the bottom had a chain also. The strap sometimes slips just a little, but it is still secure.

I seem to get quite a bit of relief from low back pain. Had back surgery 10 years ago on l4-5-s1. Been having more problems lately and not wanting to go back on vicoden. This may help put that off.
My feet do slide up or down in the retainer.

Its lots of fun! It is a bit harder to use then
it appeared on the ads. I do have a breathing and
heart problem along with a bad back. I think if I
were in better health, it might be a bit easier to
use. Too much blood rushes to my head just to go straight to the upside down position, making it even harder for me to breathe. I have to do this much slower. It is like I said still fun, a little hard to get on, and my arms don't reach the handle bars, so I can't do this when I am alone. I wouldn't be able to get back up. It doesn't work with the motion of your arms!

This is a great product. An it is only uncomfortable when laying flat or just getting in our out. The frame cuts you off across your lower back not bad but it should be designed another way. We love ours an use it everyday twice a day-Great price.

I use this to stretch out my back and decompress after a long shift. I'm a little top heavy, so I adjust it for someone a little taller, which makes it easy to move up and down. I sleep great after using this table
I ordered this on EARLY Monday morning (technically Sunday night). I got an e-mail saying it would be shipped the following Monday. Imagine my surprise when I got another e-mail that it had already shipped. The table arrived Wednesday. The e-mails from the company were prompt and plentiful.

I really love this table. it is very well-constructed and was very easy to assemble. I can already (after less than one week) feel my body becoming less compacted and more fluid. I use this for a bulged disc and it helps to stretch and to ease the pain. I bought an inexpensive table to try out and it serves it's purpose. Easy to use and setup. A little bulky and tough to store but it didn't break the bank. I've only inverted to 45 degrees so far but it seems secure enough.

We've had the Calm Inversion Table for about a week [...]. There are 3 of us in the household with heights ranging from 5'3" to 6' and the table can be easily adjusted for each of us.The table is actually fun to use and the stretch feels really good. I had tried a highly priced and frequently advertised inversion table. This is as stable, smooth and easy to adjust. Within 45 min. of bring the box in, I had it set up, had read the use directions and was on the table. Following the adjustment instructions, within 15 min. I had found the right height setting. Keep in mind that the height scale is a starting point, and may change over time as fitness level changes. The supplied tools are fine for installing the 4 bolts and nuts. It would have taken as long to go to my basement shop and get the needed tools as it took to use what was supplied.

I bought this for a lower back problem and am not sure that it is helping in my case. That does not mean it will not help others with a back problem since I think mine is hereditary. It is very well made and is very stable. I found that I needed to put a pillow under my back to make it comfortable but that is easy enough to do and for that price, still a good deal.

I have problems with a hip that jams up and I end up with a pinched nerve problems so my chiropractor suggested that I get a table. I use it once or twice a day or when my hip gives me problems and it seems that it really helps to "unjam" the hip and I get a lot more movement in my hip without getting a pinched nerve after use. I notice it helps my back also. I also had to set the height taller than I was so that the table wouldn't go back so far but with this setting it works wonderful. I don't store the table so I can't say if it is easy to fold up or not.
I received the table within 5 days of ordering, which included the weekend. It was in good condition and all the parts were there.

The table is great, it's easy to get on and off and relatively simple to adjust. I can feel the relief on my back as I'm on the table. I'm even comfortable enough to go on it with noone home, which at first I was afraid to do in case I got stuck. The only negative thing I have to say is it's pretty big and hard to store. The customer service woman told me I could easily fit it under my bed. Unless I took off some of the pieces that's not true. Overall, great product and I'm looking forward to the long term results.
I ordered my table on Tuesday and it was in my home on Friday. It was a little complicated to put together, but in an hour it was up and ready.

The Calm has been a life saver. I recently had pinched nerves in my lower back. After paying a chiropractor over $270 for minimal relief, I decided there most be something else without surgery. What a difference the Inversion Table has made. After narrowly escaping back surgery after a horrific bout with Sciatica, my neurosurgeon "strongly suggested" that I get an inversion table to stretch out my spine. I listened, ordered the Calm Inversion Table and after the very 1st use, I felt my spine stretch and my back relax. The main reason I use the table is for the benefits of a (slight) daily inversion. I have it perfectly balanced to gently rock back and forth,which relieves pressure between the joints of my spine. It gently reverses the effects of gravity and weight. After 2 days of use (5 -10 minutes / day), I was 1/2" taller. Now my son has to "look up" to me :). I became a serious competitive distance runner in 2005. Sometimes, I logged as many as 50 miles per week in race preparation. That took its toll on me. I developed Syatica and my lower extermities would go numb during long runs, which caused me to compensate by changing my stride which cause me knee issues. Now, using the inversion table in conjunction with physical therapy has helped relieve the Syatica. My running is getting better again because I'm getting (my) back to normal. The inversion table is so easy to use and was a breeze to assembly. It took 20 mins to assemble. My only small complaint is that I have to use it without shoes, otherwise my feet go numb. But even that only happened toward the end of my 10 minute sessions.

I'm 62 and have had chronic back pain for about 25 years. I won't bore you with sob stories on how much money and time I've spent with Chiropractors and Orthopaedic doctors - or how many orthotics, shoe-lifts and whatnot I've used which never helped.

At first I thought this table wouldn't work for me because I am under five foot, but I worked with it and found my spot. The first thing I do each morning is invert. My backache is gone imediatly. I love my table so does everyone that uses it. Great for pinch shoulders from sleeping on them wrong.

Sensational feeling being inverted. Love the padded ankle/foot feature. Sitting at a desk all day long, was looking forward to a relaxing stretch each evening. I was surprised to find out that at first I could not stay up-side-down for more than a minute, but after a week of using the table about three times a day I could stay inverted a few seconds longer and longer each time.
I could feel my spine stretching while inverted and it felt good. After a few days of using the table when I was sitting, typing I felt a good feeling in my lower back, it was as if there was more oxygen or more feeling between my vertibrea if you can imagine that. It was a comforting feeling in that area. Also, after using the table a few days I was taking a walk as I try to do a few times a week at my local walking track and I went into a jog very naturally because my stamina was such that I could do that. The last time that happened was 8 years ago when I was walking for hours a day consciencly trying to get in better shape, but this time that was not the case. I had just used the table a couple of times and I felt so good that I just went into a jog naturally, not really pushing myself to do that it was just a progression, so I was really happy about that and really inpressed with the increased stamina that I had gained from doing the invertion just for a week. Also, I felt a stretching in my digestive tract while inverted which felt very healing. Needless to say I am going to make a commitment to use the table daily and I look forward to some more beneficial stamina and stretching and comfort in my spine without using drugs and that is the main reason why I bought the table to stay away from pain medications and to try to get more active physically. I am so happy that I heard about this inversion table and I would recomend it to everybody that had any issues with discomfort in their spine because it really does help you feel better and in turn helps you get outside and be active. Thanks so much.

I have arthritis in my spine and bought this product hoping it would help with the pain. I do get relief with this table. The only thing I don't like is that it is very hard on your ankles. I think this is something that will just take time to get use to.

Very happy with this purchase. [...] ease of assembly, this is a great purchase. Be careful when setting the decline position. Add weight to the decline while setting rear travel. Instructions state to set decline to approx 15 degree's for beginners. I did this and with my weight of 210 lbs, it flexed the strap to about 45 degrees. This put alot of strain on my lower back, prolonging my misery. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, great machine at a great price.

This table is a good value. The cons are that it is slightly uncomfortable on the ankles, and the strap that controls the amount of inversion could be easier to adjust. The pros are that it has made my back feel better, and provides a great ab workout by doing crunches while inverted.

I really like this inversion table. I can see where some people would have a problem with being upside down and buldging eyes but if you go slow and don't push your incline limit it works great.I was starting to feel like I was always slouching. This gives a great stretch and now without the tightness in my back I can work on my posture. A couple minutes at a time, even at a low incline, fells great.

Really like this table. It is very sturdy, but folds up so I can put it in a closet. The only thing I don't like is the placement of the bar across the back, they did put a piece of styrofoam on it, but it's still a little bothersome. I can't see why one would spend more money for deluxe padding since you only spend a few minutes per day on the table. It's great for stretching and alleviate back problems. This padding is comfortable enough for the duration of the invertion. I feel secure and safe on the table that has a good stability. Actually be careful not to fall asleep on in...it might be a good idea to never use it alone.
The only minor con: The adjustment strap used to set the angle could have been a little easier to adjust.

I trust it enough to use on my own. I haven't
tried the full inversion yet, but use it for
5 min. 3X a day and have found that it does ease
the pain in my lower back and neck. I haven't
tried to store it as I use it daily.

This product is all it was described to be. I feel perfectly comfortable laying upside down on my head alone over my cement garage floor. The ankles are adjustable, it wasnt very hard to put together either. I would recommend this product for the great value that it is :)

The table is sturdy and very stable. I was able to set the table up by myself. The setup itself is not hard, but the pictures in the manual are small and it's difficult to distinguish the pieces. It took a while to adjust the height and make the other adjustments to the table so that it would rotate easily, but that was because I was by myself and had to get on and off the table numerous times. A 2nd person would make setup and adjustments faster, but is not a necessity.
I highly recommend this table. My spine feels so relaxed after using it, and I have not had a severe headache in DAYS. This is a wonderful way to give myself an "adjustment" between visits to the chiropractor.
I could not believe how fast the inversion table arrived. I ordered it Saturday night and received it Tuesday afternoon- 3 days later!

I have had back pain on a daily basis, and once I started using the Calm inversion table, it decreased tremendously. My pain did not completely go away, but I have been using the table for only a week, and noticed a significant improvement.

Have had back problems for years. For years subscribed to pain management and regular stretching and exercise. Pain began increasing in last 6 months. Tried chiropractor, massage therapist, accupuncture, physical therapy and personal trainer. Pain would not subside. Purchased inversion table at the recommendation of my chiropractor and massage therapist. Was skeptical, but pain makes people desperate for any relief. Unbelievably, using it for a few minutes a few times a day in the first week has already brought relief from pain. Not a miracle cure (yet) but definitely can feel the difference. The only con I would mention is that it is not as comfortable around the feet/ankles as I would expect. Limits my time at 4-5 minutes a session which probably is a good time. Would recommend this to anyone with back pain. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.
